   ......... looks similar to one our neighbor built for his son way back in the olden days when i was a kid ...... the two of us rode the hell out of it had a great time ....... his dad used a gas washing machine motor with a belt drive ..... no safety features or helmets required in those days ... it's a wonder we didn't get our fingers or pants caught in the belt ..... thanks for the memories ..... completely forgot about that one ...

  I thought it was the signature picture that had issues...thanks Moe for the tech support

The motor on this reminds me of a go-cart I built with some friends when I was a kid, old lawn mower engine, bicycle parts and gears, wooden frame, push to start (no clutch). We rode this thing for a couple of weeks then blew the motor...that was that but it was fun....like Moe said, no helments, no safety...no thought about it...just fun, fun, fun....

:) :) :) ...... kinda thought you were confused on which pic was not showing ......... :) :) :)

.... that old washing machine motor was kinda cool because it had a kick start and the clutch system was on a lever with a pulley on the end that put pressure on the belt causing it to engage with the motor and the rear wheel ...... aaaahhhh ....... the good old days .... most people probably don't even remember washing machines with gas engines … check the link ....

First ride for me was very similar, It was my older brother's, started riding that when I was 5. It had a wicked case of gyroscopic osculation at speed, no helmets, no protection, many casualty's laid out on the asphalt, I survived it. Then buddy across the street got a Keystone for xmas, few crashes figuring out the clutch, that was a sweet ride.
