Indian Scout 60

Post by Bam Bam » Tue Jun 26, 2018 2:23 pm

My nephew just finished his MC course. Bought himself a bike right away. He did a lot of looking and found he liked the Indian Scout 60. I think it will be a fine 1st ride for him, he is about 150lbs soaking wet. He is taking possesion this weekend, ha, which means he will be soaking wet.
I'm thinking this Scout 60 might give the X a good run, any thoughts.

Very nice ride. Good size for a starter bike. Big enough to satisfy the "more power" urge for awhile and sized right for some real good riding!

Enjoy and be safe!!

He picks her up this weekend. Going to go with him, should be fun.
Getting his first bike at 50 yrs old, with only limited previous dirtbike experience. I don't think he will be a tiresmoker.
He already got pipes on it and the passenger gear as well.
I'm sure this will bike will serve his needs for a good long while.
Will have a report after the weekend. :)

Well, we did not get a lot of riding in, the weather really sucked, wasn't snowing however, so we made the best of a few hrs.
Very cool little bike, very sporty for sure. My nephew is on the moon, can't blame him, it's fun to ride. He hasn't had any riding experience other than taking the course, so I'm sure the excitment of this bike will last him quite awhile. Also has the Crusher slip-ons, sounds awesome, not harleyish, but double crankpin sound, well V=rod..ish :)

Nice! Us Victory types are starting to call our bikes "Indian Prototypes" Im sure he'll get miles of smiles out of the scout when the weather clears!

Not really good for anything, but they can still make you smile when you push them down the stairs."
