Where's my Moly 60?

Post by RoadWarrior » Sat May 19, 2018 7:30 pm

Honda discontinued Moly 60 paste! Bummer! The stuff was great. They have substituted it with Moly 77 which is not as good. I did some research for alternatives and here is what I found:

Loctite 51048

TS-70

Honda Moly 77

If you can find some good Canadian suppliers, let me know...

I ended up buying a container of Loctite 51048 to give it a try....It is supposed to be the same stuff, slightly better with 65% moly instead of 60...I guess I'll see soon enough!

I bought it from Amazon US, not the CDN version. They ship this product to Canada via Amazon US. It was a lot cheaper this way. The link I used in my initial post is where I bought it from.

The CDN version was almost twice the money??????

Just received the Loctite moly, container is a fair size and the cap has a brush to make it easier to spread it. It looks exactly like the Honda moly paste. Specs are a bit better than the Honda moly paste. There is enough there to last a long time.

Loctite is the one I use. One tub will last forever, and when you disassemble after everything looks perfect.
It's NOT about the destination........ The Journey is what counts.
