Weather finally getting better

Post by RoadWarrior » Tue Apr 24, 2018 3:59 pm

This weekend was the first decent day in the GTA this year. Was anyone out for a spin this weekend?

Yah, that noisey sumbitch across the road fired up his noise-maker!
I was working a block away fixin a fence and the guy I was working for says " Jesus thats a Loud Bike!"

I looked him in the eye and told him " I`ve got the same bike."

He wandered away muttering something, but I couldn`t hear him.....maybe cause of my pipes??

Was out for a run to Port Perry today with Dirt Road Dave and brother Randy.
Beautiful weather until Dave`s bike started over-heating. Seems the water pump seal is going as he was drippin pretty good. Dave ran it back home with low speed. Will dig into it tomorrow to see what it needs.
Mother nature smiled on us for the rest of the day, sunny and warm, no rain !

Been out a few times now.
Riding up to the shack tomorrow to start getting ready for lifting the building and the new addition.
I doubt I'll be around town for awhile. I'll be too busy feeding the blackflies. :)

I think the issue we saw last summer coming home from Montreal River is manifesting itself....

Nice to see everyone getting back in the saddle, definitely feels good.
Chum, let me know when you get er back together, we go for a ride. In the mean time try Donairo's on McCallum. :)
Geez, I switched to the progressive Goldwing springs up front, never blow a seal again, course the front shocks only move about 2 inches max. not real happy with the stiffness.

Bam Bam, we live just off McCullum, never been to Donairo's though. Bike should be a go now...just as soon as I charge the battery.  Ya, I've used the Goldwing springs for years now...and ya they are stiff. With the suspension setup on this trike now it's like riding on a brick...no bounce at all, but corners like the dickens.
