Hey Mo - you still got the uber special Honda fork tool available?????

Not lookin forward to this - especially as the hoppe fairing is fork mounted - time to wire a plug in on the power wires for quick release me thinks ;)

:) :) :) ......... Darrel aka chumbly has the fork tool ....... remember your forks are inverted so make sure you put the seals in right side up otherwise you will have major leakage and have to do them all over again ........ :) :) :)

Welllll, the forks ended up receiving full rebuild and front end is fiiiiiinally back together with exception of the fairing - fairing goes back on tomorrow (now that the new stereo is here ;) )

Throwing the other set of bars back on (retros) for a bit more pullback - hopefully that will allow me to actually ride the beast this summer (tendon in me rotator is torn through :/ )

If I do manage to stay road worthy, I think I'ma swap my 1800 gears back into her to get that *snap* back - been riding with 1300 gearing for a few years now (overdrive for high speed long haul) but if I won't be able to do long haul so much, may as well do short jaunt with the fun wow back in her eh?! LOL

Wish me luck boyz!

Wow, not fun, Jeep. Had both of mine done so I know...still sufferin' from the crash in Bruce Mines. Wish you well, and good luck. I still need to do the forks on mine before I can ride as well. Busy trying to get the Ford in shape, so forks are on the back burner. Be well Buddy and hopefully see youz later.

Thanks guy - yeah. torn through and apparently they don't heal :/ No surgery for me right now though as it's only a 50% chance of success and if it fails it fails big time - plus it'd really fukk up my clan tattoo ;) lol. Have a chiropractor over here that spent 20 years with pro sports teams so he's doing a good job of keeping motion and pain to a minimum so long as I behave.

Also have access to that st1300 for a decent price sooooo if need be, maybe a totally different (standard) seating position will help - time will tell

Still planning on being at the meet come bike or shaggin waggin ;)

Tanks agin! :)
