hey Rob, used the complete Barnett setup, comes with new springs. :) just a note, the Barnett has way more contact than the stock clutch plates, and heavier springs too.

Any input regarding clutch for 1300?
'Cause I know y'all burnin' out 1800 clutches.
Us little guys like t' know what our options might be.
And never mind the "add 500cc" input. :razz: :) :lol:

I replaced mine with a Barnett. Working really well.
Bought a kit on Ebay (plates and springs) for I think $165 bucks. :think: That included shipping.
Bought new bolts for torqueing the plates from the local stealer. I'm pretty sure I had to pull the pipes off also, so you'll need crush gaskets.
The clutch here was around $300. I came in under that for everything. Ship by mail from the U.S. - No tax.. :wink:
Aways put your brain in gear before you let the clutch out on your mouth.

I got the Barnett Kevlar kit, I kept the dimple metal plates from the original clutch, they had no warpage or discoloration.

The one's with the kit look cheap just stamped metal plates.

Never had a problem slipping or sticking when cold.
