Gettin at It

Post by hammerman » Wed Feb 11, 2015 10:51 pm

Finally catching up on projects, tomorrow will be cleaning up the garage (sawdust tools ect...)
Beasty is going up on the stand and will begin taking apart.
New fork seals, remove all rear back rests and rails and fab up new brackets for the hardbags.
The bags will be back on This Year!!!!
Tank, fenders and side-panels and batwing coming off . Gonna do new paint and designs.
No Idea what, but will have to wait and see what the old braincells come up with.
Have to see what Dave and Hydrografica have in stock!!
Guess I will have to stock up on Bacon Ceasers, Blue, and 40 Crick in the fridge :)

Best laid plans often go awry (or is it rye?)
Was down at the Outdoor show with DR Dave for 2 days.
Come home to 12 cm of white stuff, just get done cleaning it up, snap gear selector cable on blower.
Try 5 places to get replacement-- nothing available, will order-2 weeks wait.
Build 1/4 in. metal linkage to replace--now fixed.
Kim`s co-worker calls up, her hubby busted his blower, and can I fix it??
Re-do the wiring and fix hand controls, now operational.
Call this a.m. to install real estate sign for agent.
Get home from pounding sign in, next door neighbour comes over. Dead battery in Buick.
Put on charger and clean batt. posts, now running.
Have a kitchen to start re-do tommorrow-gyproc, ect....

looks like Beasty is gonna wait a little longer :(

Oh, and you guys wonder what us Retired guys do to keep busy???

I've ridden with you and I don't seem to remember you paying attention to any lines at all.
