Haliburton county - June 19

Not an organized ride at all.. I'm just thinkin bout doin a lil day ride thru Haliburton county this Sunday. Not sure where, some route incorporating the 503 & 507 at least.

Anyone interested?

I would have been interested, but I am heading down to Napanee. Looks like a good weekend weatherwise.

VTX XTC posted a ride this sunday to Dover area, said I would go. So have a good one, those roads are great.

I see that now! A lil thread searchin does wonders. I'm tryin to glom in on that one, too.. can do Haliburton another weekend.

Actually, that's awful damn similar to what I had in mind cept prolly come down the 121 through Kinmount (great ice cream stand there) back to Fenelon & onward. 35 is gettin damn busy. I got stuck for a good 80km behind some freakin blue hair doin 60 on Monday... passin ain't as easy with a loaded truck :doh:


There's so damn many roads up there I wanna ride that I've done on 18 but not 2 wheels.. the 504/620 is great thru Coe Hill, the 648 up to Wilberforce.. Dyno Rd... 118 up around Carnarvon.. list goes on...

I'll try to keep a close eye on this thread.

I live on 648!!!

Wouldn't mind hooking up when you roll through. Could meet at the restaurant in Harcourt! Great spot to eat!!

Although due to my trip to Tennessee after mid July would be better!
Nothing beats the smell of riding my VTX in the open air!
