Grace and I are going up on Saturday morning. We can meet at the Tim Hortons at the corner of Major Mackenzie and 400. There is a Tim's and Esso right there
We will be there at 7:45am with stands up at 8am.
Take 400 north to Major Mackenzie, turn left ( go west) . Tim's and Esso is right there only a few hundred metres from the 400 on the south side of Major Mackenzie (west side of 400)

Definitely a damn good day!
.. as long as i ignore the part about Dave lyin about the "waterproof" part of the Swat boots lol
The ride was organized & executed just awesome. The co-operation of the clubs & Midland cops & OPP was just phenomenal. Too bad the rain scared some folks away, turned out to be a gorgeous day.

The day didn't start all that well, Dave, Grace and I rode up through the rain but it stopped after we got to Midland. The entire day afterwards was fantastic. Great ride, good food, great company. lots of fun!
What was especially awesome was that all the peoplle that did show were all the die hard, experienced riders. No worries about inexperienced people doing stupid things, everyone rode like pro's, it was a pleasure to see!
Thanks Big Dave for all the work you did in organizing this. Thanks to Joyce for helping out and putting up with this bunch!!!
Hopefully next year the rain won't scare off the timid and there will be a larger turn out.
