The location: Cranbrook/Kimberley area of the East Kootenays, just a hop and a skip (3 hours) South of Banff, right in the Purcell Mountain Range, with Fisher Peak as a backdrop.
The excellent caliber of our riding roads is the best kept secret in North America, just about all of them as we step out our back door: Hwy 93 through Kootenay Park, Hwy 3a Creston to Kaslo or Nelson. Kootenay Pass (Salmo-Creston), Kimberley/Wasa/Bull River/Jaffray/Elko, Kimberley/StEugene Mission/Cranbrook.
For those spending an extra day or two, Highway to the Sun (Glacier National Park in Montana).
Excellent sight seeing for some, aggressive pucker up riding for others. Take your pick. Or sit back and enjoy the company. Go ahead, make the commitment. See you all here.

I am giving this some serious thought, is anyone from the East making the run?

Re: NATIONAL MEET 2018
I highly doubt I'll be in on this. I would want 3 weeks at the very, very, very least for this kind of trip. Time and money wise it's just not very likely. Honestly.

Re: NATIONAL MEET 2018
I doubt we will do it. As Dave said, I would want 3 weeks as well, and while the time isn't a big deal for us, the cost would be considerable..

We are tossing the idea around as Phil and I have never been to BC. The 31, 1, 2 would work if we do decide to go.

Re: NATIONAL MEET - JUL 31, AUG 1, 2, 2018
We just got back...checked out the area with Bernie as guide, (Thanks again Bernie ). What a great part of B.C. ... had never been there before. Also in the area is two hot springs for those into that. We will definitely be there...but maybe we'll go for a week...just to ride the area, etc. again. Likely be camping though.
Still alive and Free....riding on three
