........... due to the lack of enthusiasm and poor response for this ride it is now cancelled ........... after discussion with danny it was deemed not worth his efforts in organizing this event if no one was going to show ............ so much for the national meets ...... for all those who have booked rooms in Lloyd ensure that you cancel them........... the west side gang have something in the works for august ........ stay tuned for updates ......

Sorry to hear about the lack of interest .... unfortunately for Mrs Wrangler and I we just cannot do a trip like that .... she just started a new job after 10yrs of being a stay-at-home mom and I have two elderly folks that I just cannot leave for more than a day or two.

I sincerely hope this is not the beginning of the end....

Nahhhhhhhh, there'll be more - just seems that *annual* might be too frequent????

thats what i was thinking.....if a guy was to do a 4 yr swing it would work.....
4 yrs east and west....who ever is traveling can hit either other .....then the 5th yr

I am sorry I had to cancel,But with working out of town all summer it's not worth
the effort for just a handful of people.

always steps in ...maybe someday it will all work out for the whole forum to get together

Danny...sorry to hear of the decision but I think Moe is right.

I did book the first 2 weeks off in August to head out there, I have friends in Regina and Saskatoon and was going to pit-stop on the way. Now that I have 2 weeks booked off for a bike trip this summer, I need a plan B, I still want to do a big trip this summer.

I already did 4 days in PA last week, 3 days next weekend in NY, 3 days coming up in Northern ON and Quebec. Need cottage and family time and squeeze in some work time. You just can't do it all.

Sorry to hear this. We had planned to come, but A.A 's work sched wouldn't allow it. Thanks for all the work you put into this Danny and we hope to see you all again sometime.

Timing just wasn't right for us this year.
What with 80-K's hip replacement, the journey would have been impossible.

I'm sure the long range meets will still remain on the table, just a question of who, where, and when.
