T-Boned

Post by joeracket » Wed Jun 20, 2018 8:20 pm

   ......... had a visit from ricardo today ....... told me that he was t-boned in an intersection about four weeks ago ...... old fella took off from a stop sign while rick was proceeding on a through street hitting his bike on the left side smashing the motor and crash bars luckily missing his leg ....... rick suffered broken ribs a badly bruised leg and hand ....... he was in good spirits and on the mend although his thumb and hand are not fully functional as yet ..... his Goldwing is probably a write off as the motor was smashed upon impact ........ he may be riding a new wing to the meet in the kootenays depending if his bike is a write off or not ....... hopefully everything works out for him .....

Thanks for the well wishes. Chest is a bit sore still, but otherwise not to bad. I got out of cutting the grass for a month, only up side. The bike took a hit right on the cylinder head, knocked it crooked. Oil was running out of places it shouldn't. It appears I will have to go shopping.

Thanks again!
