Did Thanksgiving at the cottage for the 40th year in a row. Unbelievable warm weather, boating, great dinner, friends, adult beverages. Perfect

Re: looking for a led bulb to replace the stock headlight bulb

On the US forums, the only problem seems to have been an issue getting the light to shine low enough. Maybe they are all upside down

Re: going back to the dark side

Better traction in the water, in gravel, on takeoff, hard stopping, way better mileage, better ride especially for the passenger.
I couldn't car less about the price but it's another positive factor. Never going back....

Motorcycle deaths

As of the motorcycle death on the Skyway Bridge this morning, we've equaled the record number of mc deaths set just last year.
And with the extended riding season we're having, that number is only likely to rise.

Stay safe out there!

Re: Hammers Garage

If I can't find someone to tell me what source of the slight hesitation is I have on my X right now, I may have to ask for an appointment at Dr Hammer's garage.....last year, Honda dealer says he can't replicate it (but it's there every ride) and too busy to bother troubleshooting

Re: Best place for tires

Just to close this off, I heard back from Zdeno's and they had it in stock but were the 2nd most expensive. Canada's Motorcycle is now fortnine.ca for some reason and they are at $192 with free delivery. Pete's Superbike $162 plus FEDEX $20 shipping so $182.... $10 better.....ships out of Quebec sam...

Re: Best place for tires

I buy from Pete's Superbike. :stupid: Here's a link to a previous thread: http://www.canadianxriders.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13526&p=100719&hilit=tires#p100719 As an FYI, the search box at the top right does index the site. If you enter tires it will find all threads. Thanks but there's only ...

Best place for tires

I have a Metz 880 150/80/17H on the front and it's time to replace it (darkside on the rear has a long way to go) I can't find any recent thread where tire sites are discussed so where is the best place to go for fresh tires priced right? Canada's Motorcycle is now fortnine.ca for some reason...

Re: Rain meet waterfall

Are there any fish in there?  Stay dry! There's another even larger waterfall about a mile below mine so they'd have to be super-fish to climb them  There are fish that spawn below the second waterfall. Rarely, I have seen small fish in our stream but they may have come out of ...

Rain meet waterfall

Lots of rain means no riding for last few days and it's supposed to keep raining for the next few still. I'm running out of towels to wipe the water and mud off the dog 4X a day.... :brick: The waterfall on my driveway is the proud recipient of all the water from dozens of miles upstream. It's aweso...

I agree with Maddog. If I was selling my bike, I'd look to get around the same number. My bike has more miles but a train load more options on it....

Re: Thank You

Every time I see a new Canadian sign up on VTXcafe or VTXoa, I suggest they sign up here as well. I don't think many do since the site isn't very busy. Chicken and egg kind of problem.
